D&M Going Forward The Right Way Construction first started out as a small business in Randfontein in 1972 as a construction company. Over time identified many other challenges within the industry and built the company to become a total solution to the fabrication and engineering sector. Thus, D&M Going Forward The Right Way construction is a one stop service and solution company in the construction and service industry, where the client can feel reassured because they deal with one company which essentially serves the faction or project manager to oversee all the tasks necessary to make it a success.

Mission Statement

We aim to be a green solution service and building supplier to endeavor saving the planet one business and home at a time. We plan to execute this vision by implementing the equipment, tools and bespoke solutions that saves energy, time and money. It is this vision that we aim to position us as the preferred construction, electrical and security installations supplier in South Africa.

Our Health and Safety Policy

D&M Going Forward The Right Way recognizes the importance of protecting the health and safety of our employees, clients, and contractors. This policy is applicable to all activities and operations controlled by D&M Going Forward The Right Way. It is intended to safeguard employees, clients, contractors, visitors and the community.

Implementation

To fulfill the intent of this policy, we will endeavor to:

  • Meet or exceed all applicable health and safety laws and regulations.
  • Manage safety risks by implementing systems to identify, assess, monitor and control hazards.
  • Establish a set of Safety Management Standards to facilitate the implementation of this policy.
  • Implement “Designing for Safety” principles.
  • Design, implement and monitor safe systems for hazardous activities.
  • Plan ahead by identifying hazards and to comply with the relevant client safety procedures.
  • Encourage safe work behaviours and train all employees and managers in general safety and project safety programs and procedures.
  • Give employees the opportunity and encouragement to participate in safety matters relevant to their work.
  • Establish objectives and targets for the implementation of this policy.
  • Establish an audit program to measure the effectiveness of the implementation of this policy.
  • Provide appropriate resources to implement this policy including personal protective equipment, health and safety committees, personnel and training.
  • The Occupational Health and Safety act 85 of 1993 and its regulations and current
    environmental laws and regulations are reviewed regularly, and changes are made and implemented to ensure the highest practical standards throughout the Company.
  • Sustain continual improvement by at least annually reviewing our policies and standards.

Responsibility and Accountability

  • The responsibility for leading health and safety and ensuring the implementation of this Policy resides with D&M Going Forward The Right Way Members and the Managing Team.
  • Every D&M Going Forward The Right Way Project Manager is directly accountable for the implementation of this policy on their projects.
  • Equally, all employees have a responsibility to work safely using the training, technological resources and safety equipment provided to them.

Our Quality Policy

The D&M Going Forward The Right Way policy is to provide work that conforms to our customer’s agreements and to deliver it on time at a competitive price. The name D&M Going Forward The Right Way must represent quality to our Clients, Potential Clients, Us, and our Suppliers.

The above will be achieved by constantly raising the performance of our company through developing all our employees and encouraging our suppliers to participate in ongoing improvement of their working processes.
